The walk into the village is just over 1km, either along a hilly route, which is quieter, or along a level route, where you walk right next to a busy road. The latter option is okay in the evenings, when traffic is less.Nice views from the house. Great Terrace to sit outside. ”

“We enjoyed our week at Cuillin View. The apartment was as described but we did not appreciate how small it was. Our daughter joined us for a few days and it was a squeeze to accommodate us all (with a dog). The dining chairs were fold up to save space but they were uncomfortable and cushions or better chairs would be an improvement. The draining board next to the sink was tiny and too small for two, let alone 3 people. Finally the WiFi was terrible. Intermittent with a maximum download of……

“We booked through home and away so was surprised that all communication subsequently came from cottages.com ( who were obviously the property manager) and then discovered that if I had originally booked with them the cottage would have been cheaper- which was annoying . Also disappointed that due to a local land dispute a nearby resident had erected a fence and we were unable to access the Loch near the cottage”

“Ian's lodge proved to be super quaint in a quiet part of Kilchoan and up a slight hill, with a view of the water in the distance. Secluded surroundings making an evening on the porch ideal and private. Nice over hang making sit outs in the rain ideal and atmospheric. Very close to Kilchoan grocery store which also has a petrol station and with Kilchoan Hotel only a 5 minute walk away. So you have all the amenities on your doorstep. Great location for exploring the furthest part of Ardnamurchin……

“We absolutely loved our stay at the Armadale Castle, the view from the place was amazing. My husband and I went during their off season so they place was pretty much to ourselves, I personally loved how quite it was and how close the store was to the place. “We stayed at Drumgarry for a week in early April and could not have picked a better week weather wise. We are a family of 3 plus one small dog, and had a fantastic time. The house is large with plenty of space and has amazing views from the Livingroom/decking at the front of the property. The house is located in a very quiet and peaceful area with the added bonus of a lovely Inn at the foot of the drive that serves food throughout the day.
