“Uniquely positioned the cottage was a tranquil place to stay. There is a nice roomy bedroom and an efficient shower. We did struggle with some electrical items, we couldn't seem to work the heating, they are obviously on a separate electric supply as just switching them on doesn't do anything until the follow day when the switch is then lit and some heat is coming out. But we didn't want the heat in the day and it never seemed to throw out any heat in the evening.The other problematical thing……

“Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here! A nice, straightforward, and easy 35 minute walk to the center of Inverness. We had 5 adults and 2 children (ages 4 and 2) and there was plenty of space for all of us. It got a bit toasty at times with no AC, but we made it work. The washer/dryer combo took a long time to wash and dry, and we could never figure out how to turn on the hot water to the bathtub (those things were probably on us), but overall was a clean and cozy stay; it was our favorite……

“This is the perfect cottage to explore Skye. Ideal for a family of four. We slept well, the shower is good and every thought has gone into this self catering accommodation (not one but two hairdryers, sharp kitchen knives, dishwasher tablets, treats!). We arrived with everything we needed food and drink wise (I recommend you do as well as it's a drive to the shops) but also ate locally at the inn which was fine and lively. There's an excellent playpark across the road and a pottery. ”

“Good for family (2 adults, 4 kids). Good location, 30 minute walk or 10-15 minute bus ride to the city centre. Clean apartment, some initial struggle with the front door key ‘technique’ but the video was helpful, could’ve done with a few more kitchen utensils / oven trays for self catering. Overall good, would stay again. ”
