“The Cottage served as a location to celebrate our son's 21st Birthday and provided everything we were looking for, access to nature, a peaceful environment and a homely cottage that sufficiently catered for all our needs. We especially enjoyed the space of the rooms, the comforting wood burner and accessibility of the hot tub. As with other reviewers, the access road can be a challenge without the right vehicle - but we were thankful for Rosie and Dave's generous help and support having received……

“Pictures do not do this stay justice. This is a converted farmhouse so the stay itself is a no frills type of place. If you are looking for 5 star hotel quality amenities this isn’t for you. But if you are looking for a wonderful Scottish experience that includes a drive through quaint villages, beautiful farmland, amazing cliffside views, and friendly hospitality then this place certainly will not disappoint. “Its difficult to recommend the property, as it was quite worn in many places, but offered moderate value for money overall. The cleaning of the property needs improvement, as we had to clean rancid milk from the fridge on arrival, which was pretty unreasonable as a starting point, and bathrooms and ither areas were worn and not particulalrly clean. The towels provided were worn, the bathrooms and fitting were old and somewhat dilapidated in areas. Radiators in some areas of the house didnt……

“Location, location. If you don't mind winding down a farm road for almost a mile through woodland and field, opening and closing livestock gates along the way this is the place for you! The house is warm and cozy and superbly outfitted. The beds are very comfortable. The lawn and gardens are bountiful, with canal paths and woodland walks right outside your door. “Fantastic Farmhouse located a hop and skip from Stirling. The house has heavenly views of nature, cows, sheep and beautiful hills. We came with our daughter and grandchildren on a holiday from the US. It made it a convenient location for all our day trips. The hosts are great folks and aim to please.”

“The stay overall was great, however, ad shows 4 king size beds which was ideal for us as 4 couples. On arrival discovered 2 rooms are now set up as twins do advert out of date.Property well set up with great facilities and contents. Property was over warm on arrival and took.hours to cool to reasonable temperature. ”
