“We had a great stay at The Stable. It’s really comfortable and well equipped with everything needed for a relaxing time. It’s in a peaceful setting yet close enough to quickly pick up any necessities. Easy parking is a bonus and taxis were easily bookable too. We are regular visitors to the area and really wish we’d found this place much sooner. For us it was perfect and we’ll definitely be back.”

“Wir hatten mit 2 Familien (4 Kindern) eine sehr schöne Zeit in der Unterkunft. Die Kinder waren natürlich besonders begeistert von den beiden Pools. Den Erwachsenen hat am besten gefallen, dass man zu Fuß in das wunderschöne Örtchen mit dem community-owned Pub gehen konnte, wo wir zwei tolle Abend hatten. Kontaktpersonen waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Ein wenig schade ist, dass es draußen keine Sitzgelegenheit gibt. Insgesamt aber alles top!”

“Owner Mike is friendly and service and his breakfast cooking was good.
One thing I feel can further improve is, when we arrived at the hotel around 1700hrs it was already total darkness as we are travelling in winter Dec 2024.
Mike should install a lamp by the sign board where the instructions for the guests, to guide the guests to the instruction’s board, as the winter darkness make it challenging for us.
He should also change the blackboard to others board as the chalk on the blackboard……

“We contacted the B&B to arrange a very early check in which was agreed with no problem.
There was a dedicated parking space close to the guest entrance which made taking luggage to the room easier.
We stayed whilst the worst of Storm Darragh was passing, so the short walk to the entrance was very welcome.
The room was spacious enough with shower, comfortable bed and, despite Storm Darragh doing its worst outside, very quiet.
Breakfast was very tasty with all produce locally bought, or made in……

“We spent 5 days here over New Years and had the most perfect time away. The farm house was so lovely and all our needs were catered for. There were even logs provided for the log fire. The location was absolutely stunning, very good for the soul. Plenty of room for all 7 of us, and the kids enjoyed it too. Beds are comfy. Helen the host greeted us when we arrived and provided us with all the information needed. She is a great host. We would very much recommend this place and will definitely……

“We had a lovely weekend staying at this propery. the location is idyllic in the middle of fields, there is nobody around so you really feel like you're away from it all. The property is huge and really well equipped. The kitchen has everything you could need, everything is clean and well maintained. The hot tub on the patio is a great addition. There was more than enough space for 7 of us to eat and sleep. Would absolutley want to return here.”

“A spacious, cosy, well equipped property in a beautiful area. The electric hob was a bit of a trial but we managed it in the end. We visited Munster Castle and the birds of prey exhibitions were fantastic. We did some lovely walks in the area, one of which was direct from the house. We would definitely use this property again as it was ideal for a large group family stay.”

"A 1970s office block converted into a hotel. Rooms are huge by UK standard, both the room and equipment are very clean. Staff is friendly and experienced. The main complaint would be the WiFi - averaging 100-500kb/s, which is slow even by 2010 standards. Certainly need a replacement.
Elevators only stop on even floors, so you would need to walk 1/2 floor up or down to the 1F reception or room (uneven floor for me). Elevator is very fast and there are 3 of them, so no issues at all. The nearby Eccles Shopping Centre is being redeveloped, so it can get quiet at night. Large supermarket just opposite to the hotel. The Eccles town centre and train/tram station in around 5 minutes."

"I arrived quite early on the day. The reception lady stored my bags and allowed me to early check-in. Although i'm in no need rush. I want to visit the city first.
Warm welcome. It can become quite busy late in the afternoon.
The restaurants reservations is full until 2030 ( i approach them at 1830)
Close to train station.
Good breakfast but not costly "

Be careful if you are sensitive to noise.
"I'm very concerned with the sleeping quality that I can get in a hotel so this hotel is between 3 to 4 out of 5 for me. The bedding is very comfortable and the room is very decent and clean. The only downside is that the wall and door are really too thin, and that the hotel is busy with people in and out. The door when closed would create a loud noise capable of waking everyone up. You can hear the music and conversation of the adjacent room easily.
Also, the cleansing staff, although having done a great job in cleaning, was really creating loud noise when they clean (including slamming the door of the cleaning room). Despite putting up "do not disturb" sign outside my room, the staff knocked on my door at 9:20a.m. just to confirm if I need housekeeping service. This is simply too annoying and stressful for a quiet enjoyment of the room."
