“Amazing property! We stayed one night passing through from our northern adventure and it was the perfect place to rest and relax before getting back on the road. From the beautiful cabin, that is well organized, clean and tidy, to the air hockey table, which kept the kids occupied, and the huge fire pit outside. The property has character and is well maintained. My only regret is that we didn’t have more days to spend at the cabin! Will find a reason to stay again. Wonderful experience all……

“A very comfortable, clean, convenient apartment close to the shore and all the natural attractions near Madison and Clinton. We particularly appreciated that the owners quickly replaced the bedroom air conditioner when it broke. Great hosts!”

“The Freeboard Studio in Old Lyme was the perfect, vacation spot for me and my husband. The host truly thought of everything when renovating this space. There are basic appliances, linens, towels, cute coffee bar at the kitchenette and a pack-n-play should you need one. Paul was communicative throughout our stay, and made sure we were content everyday.Walking through the Old Colony Beach neighborhood, we felt right at home. Everyone was so respectful and kind! “Great stay. Clean, all amenities provided, located short walk from beach. I wouldn’t call it an apartment or studio, though. It’s the size of a bedroom and includes only a bed, dresser, fridge and microwave. Not even a chair. Description made me expect a bit more but if you know the size going in, it’s a marvelous place to stay. ”

“This is a solid stay for a night or two, but it is very bare minimum - like a hostel. If you're looking for something besides a hostel experience I suggest looking elsewhere. Location is good, but you do hear the highway from the room. Owner is nice, but the walk-through of the place is unnecessary. Everything is straightforward. ”
