“Exactly as advertised. Loved everything about it.”

“Beautiful property away from it all! Simple 1 bedroom 1 bath home with wrap around porch overlooking a creek/pond. There’s a lovely new hot tub on the porch as well perfect for star gazing. The property is somewhat isolated so don’t expect abundant cell signal though WiFi is available. The road to the cabin is a rocky dirt road so keep that in mind when choosing your vehicle. Mr. Bill was lovely and friendly. Readily available for any questions or needs. Thoroughly enjoyed staying with him! ”

“The view is stunning!! We kept rushing back home to sit outside and enjoy the view!! Michael was amazing w his communication and always responded immediately! The house was just as described. Plenty of room for 3 generations to meet and spend a weekend. Marion has places to eat and Asheville is an easy 40 min drive. I’d recommend driving an suv to get up and down the driveway. Lots of out door areas to sit and enjoy the view!! View from inside was amazing too! Just can’t say enough……

“We've been going to Little Switzerland forever, but this was our first time staying at their cabin! We loved having the option of cooking our own meals sometimes, and we just loved the cozy, cabin-style feel with the bears and quilts. We also really appreciated the private fire pit and the extra room for our dog. The owner and his pups were incredibly welcoming.”

“Our family had a wonderful vacation at this Black Mountain home. Some of our favorite things about the home:1. The views from the home are breathtaking! We were able to watch the sunrise each morning. 2. The check in process and communication with the owners was wonderful. We had a couple of questions during our stay and the owners responded very quickly.3. The ping pong table, foosball table, and video game machine were big hits with the teens and young adults in the group!4. The kitchen was……

“Great little hideaway well situated between Little Switzerland and Spruce Pine, about an hour from Boone and Blowing Rock! Can walk right out to some wonderful hiking! Neat little cabin!”

“Great, nearly last minute, trip. House is great and the river access is amazing but the house is not directly on the river. Not a problem; just something to b e aware of!!”

“It as peaceful as can be. Even my dog who is very anxious at home, is completely relaxed there. Has everything you need. Additional amenities such as hot tub, fire pit, and indoor and outdoor games although we just go for the solitude. Fonta Flora trail is a short ride at one end of the road. Many other trails to visit and Brown Mountain overlook within half hr to hr scenic drive from cabin. We just love it and will keep going back when we are able. ”

“We had a great time at the cabin. Very quiet neighborhood and easy access to everything. Check in was a breeze and the kitchen had everything we needed to feel at home. We wouldn't hesitate to come back.”

“Wow. Just wow! This property is spectacular in every way. Beautiful home with an even more beautiful view. Still close enough to town but far enough removed to have the perfect amount of isolation and quiet. Easily one of the best stocked properties I have ever been to. I've already bookmarked this property for future stays!”

“Wonderful spacious home with room for everyone. ”

“Very clean and as others stated, very well stocked in the kitchen. It was so nice to have plenty of areas to sit around and visit -- fire pit, hot tub (very clean), wrap around deck, outside table, pool table. Beautiful view, even in the summer with leaves on the trees! I would highly recommend this cabin rental.”

“We had a fantastic time at this cabin. The views were spectacular. Getting to the cabin was an adventure, but we loved the seclusion of it. Cabin had pretty much everything we needed. The only thing I would suggest is providing little soaps for the showers. My friends that stayed in the upper floor said the shower floor was a little slick, but otherwise everything was great! We highly recommend this cabin. You won’t be disappointed!”
