“This hotel is a piece of paradise…the grounds are beautiful and pristine. The food and drinks, top notch, rooms clean and comfortable …but it’s the people who work there that make it even more special. Everyone there was polite, professional and absolutely helpful…one in particular was Tina. She made our stay absolutely wonderful…from booking tours, procuring taxi rides…something as simple as providing us extra towels…because of her we will absolutely return to Costa Rica and book The Marala……

“We first stayed at the Marriott Los Suenos twenty years ago. We came twice then and loved it. We came for the sport fishing and were not disappointed. The marina then was small and we had great access to all the sport fishing boats but now it has gotten very exclusive and if you’re not actually on a boat, you can’t access the docks. The hotel was smaller then but fantastic. It has gotten bigger but not better. The staff was great but the tile floors make the hallways noisy and people talking out……
