“The cottage is absolutely adorable! Our host Theona was terrific! We highly recommend the cottage to anyone visiting Edenton. The cottage is located in downtown Edenton so is within walking distance to all points of interest. The cottage has everything you need and more. The screened-in porch is perfect for early morning coffee and also after dark gatherings. It has lighting for night and shades for privacy. The cottage and our host Theona were exceptional! “We absolutely loved our stay here. The cottage is well prepared for guest and their fur babies (if you have them). There was coffee in the kitchen (keurig), shampoo, bodywash, etc in the both bathrooms. Dog bowls/toys/treats! The backyard is huge which our pup loved! We were there for father's day and because there wasn't another reservation after us that day, we were able to enjoy a late checkout (per the host recommendation). “We chose this property for a quick getaway to celebrate a birthday. It was a good choice. The house is well-appointed and very cozy. With one bathroom, it was perfect for the two of us although there were beds for four more. We appreciated the dog-friendliness of the house and the neighborhood. It rained most of the time we were there, but we were so comfortable that the rain only added to the charm and coziness.
