“Perfect for a couple to gwt away”

“No complaints! Nice clean, quiet little place to just get away from reality for a couple of days. We made new friends, about 6 deer visited us a few times throughout the day. Very nice! ”

All of the amenities were top of the line. The property was exactly as it looked in the pictures. It was so clean and well kept. Our family plans on booking another vacation there next year. ”

“If you are looking for a beautiful, wooded getaway with no other humans, this is it! A comfortable home with everything you need to cook, rest, and enjoy a break from your phone. Easy 1.5 hour drive from Birmingham Alabama. My family had a great time at the "secret beach"! I loved it as an adult, but my 7-year-old was absolutely enamored. I loved waking up to the view of the treetops from the master bedroom looking out on to the private balcony. Going to stay longer next time! ”

“This home is cozy and has a great view to relax and enjoy nature. We came to Cullman for Rock the South and this was a convenient location and a nice place to relax and unwind. Bring your kayaks boats and jet ski as there is a dock ready to use. You may want to check water levels and such. Lewis Smith Lake is a nice lake !!! When I reached out to the host, they replied promptly we will recommend and stay again !”

“My family stayed for spring break and had a great time. The house is just as described and communication with the owners was excellent. They responded to all my questions and even worked with my husband to find a place to launch our boat and store the trailer. Our kids ranged in ages from 8 to 19 and they all loved it. We played on the rocks, kayaked, and enjoyed the 2-story dock each day. We enjoyed everything about our stay and hope to return next year! ”

“It was an average place. Nothing fancy. It is basically what you would think of as a cottage on a lake. Mismatched broken furniture. Dirty mattress on upstairs bunk bed. Didn’t see any bugs but I’m thinking I may have gotten head lice from the pillows. The skillets and stuff had to be scrubbed before we could use them. We did see some sort of water bug that’s to be expected on a lake. The internet is horrible I had to use my hotspot for a firestick on the tv. No one else’s phones would work on……
