“I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. 10 would be perfect! Absolutely beautiful house on a beautiful lot with the best view and access to the lake. This house was super clean and had every thing we could possible need except for food. 7 adults and 2 small children were very comfortable. We will definitely be renting this place again!!!! Absolutely no complaints!”

“Our group of 5 visited Cullman, Al for the Strawberry Festival and stayed on Smith Lake. Our group ranged from 12 to 70. The four bedrooms easily gave everyone their own space to enjoy. We did not feel cramped in the living areas - Living Room was nice with abundant space. The lake, the view, and the deck were so relaxing. The owners were easy to communicate with and answered all questions. I asked for recommendations on food and experiences and they provided those. We tried all the……

“My family stayed for spring break and had a great time. The house is just as described and communication with the owners was excellent. They responded to all my questions and even worked with my husband to find a place to launch our boat and store the trailer. Our kids ranged in ages from 8 to 19 and they all loved it. We played on the rocks, kayaked, and enjoyed the 2-story dock each day. We enjoyed everything about our stay and hope to return next year! ”

“This home is cozy and has a great view to relax and enjoy nature. We came to Cullman for Rock the South and this was a convenient location and a nice place to relax and unwind. Bring your kayaks boats and jet ski as there is a dock ready to use. You may want to check water levels and such. Lewis Smith Lake is a nice lake !!! When I reached out to the host, they replied promptly we will recommend and stay again !”

“It was an average place. Nothing fancy. It is basically what you would think of as a cottage on a lake. Mismatched broken furniture. Dirty mattress on upstairs bunk bed. Didn’t see any bugs but I’m thinking I may have gotten head lice from the pillows. The skillets and stuff had to be scrubbed before we could use them. We did see some sort of water bug that’s to be expected on a lake. The internet is horrible I had to use my hotspot for a firestick on the tv. No one else’s phones would work on……

“My wife and I were in town for family business. We have many family members in the region, and we wanted to stay far off the grid. I’m glad we did. No phone, no cable, no nothing. Absolutely fantastic! We plan to bring our children on the next trip in about 8 months. This place is #1 on the list for my wife and I. I have stayed in most states and countries, but this by far is the best stay in quite some time. We are coming back. If you want to make an offer to sell, let me know. ”

“Nice place, quiet and the lake is at the back door. The loft was a hit with our boy (7). Plenty of space in the house for everyone. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Overall, we weren't there to spend all our time at the house, but the time we got to spend there was enjoyed. ”

“I can’t say enough nice things about our stay at this new beautiful home on Smith Lake. The owners are so easy to communicate with and wanted us to have all that we needed. The home is perfect and so well done with plenty of space. I’m worried about everyone finding out about this place and never getting the chance to rent it again! Just enjoyed it so much, and great for those that don’t have a boat and can rent from the marina nearby. It was cold and they had outside heaters for us to use……
