“My family and I spent one night at this cute lake house. The house is fantastic—new, very clean, and well-equipped with toiletries, snacks, coffee, and creamers, plenty of towels, blankets, and games. The WiFi connection was reliable, contributing to an enjoyable stay. We had a great time overall despite very cold and windy weather. The communication with the owner was excellent, especially when we had questions about entering and locking the house on our way out.”

“Beautiful spacious property in the remote hills of Virginia provided a great backdrop and respite for our family gathering. Everything from the dishes, outdoor space and decor were well thought out. We had difficulty with checkin as no one was available and the code didn’t work but otherwise our stay was fantastic. Definitely will stay here again when we are back in the area. Close enough to downtown Culpeper to enjoy all it has to offer as well. Thank you for hosting so well.”

“This was a great spot for a college reunion of 10 guys. We jump around from year to year, but are planning to come back here. We were all amazed at the construction of the main house and it's giant pine logs. (Suggestion: hire a professional photographer to represent the place better on this site.) “Overall we enjoyed the home. The outdoor area is very nice. The host was very responsive to our questions and concerns. We had issues with ants and evidence of mice during the stay in the kitchen. Unfortunately this wasn't able to be corrected during our stay. One of the rooms wasn't cleaned well when we arrived. The host offered to send the cleaning company out the next day which was appreciated but we declined the offer. ”
