“We loved this little cozy cabin! It was clean and comfortable, perfect for the two of us. The view was beautiful and the balcony and hot tub were so appreciated. The hosts were sweet to leave homemade cookies for us! We enjoyed a hike at Shenandoah River State Park and a nice dinner at The Chop House. We’ll definitely be back!”

“My husband and I (and our pups) spent an amazing week in the cabin during the fall. The cabin itself is very clean, well appointed, and modern. It is obvious that the hosts carefully thought through what guests would expect from such a nice property. The has a large deck with an amazing view to the valley below. “We spent 4 nights at Solitude celebrating our 4th anniversary (actually 24 years together). The cabin, property, and area were just perfect for us and our dog. So relaxing to use the hot tub or sit by a fire after a day of exploring the Skyline Drive, Luray Cverns, the Civil War museum. Cooters was a hoot and dog friendly! ”

“From the moment we booked the reservation, Lynnette was responsive and pleasant. The house is gorgeous and very spacious. We brought my boyfriend’s two dogs and they loved the open field. We grilled, hung out on the porch, and enjoyed dipping into the hot tub. Everything about the house is as seen on the pics. It’s very quiet and it was the perfect escape from the city. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for beautiful Mountain views and fresh, clean air. ”

“We spent just 3 short days in this cabin. The location is beautiful and so lush in the spring. The opportunity for some casual fishing in the pond was fantastic. We appreciated the air conditioner, full kitchen, and collection of DVDs.Nothing super fancy but a lovely spot for a weekend escape to the mountains. ”

“We were not at the property for too long, but found it to be quiet, charming, and with the beautiful views - exactly as featured. Communication with the host was easy! The beds were comfortable.The one thing to know if that though bedspreads are provided at the property (we brought our own linens), there are not extra blankets beyond that. It can get cool at night, so we were very glad we brought some extra with us! ”

The hot tub my personal favorite was relaxin and kept clean. The land scraping was picturesque and well maintained. The river was calming and exciting.
