“My mom, sister, and I spent the weekend here to celebrate my birthday. We wanted a space where we could relax, while also being close to places we wanted to visit. We spent some time browsing an antique shop nearby, and also enjoyed tea at The Tea Cart in Berryville (highly recommend). The cottage was exactly as pictured, and the kitchen had everything we needed, including a coffee pot, Keurig, and kettle on the stove. (We brought our own electric kettle.) The host was quick to respond to……

“Overall this was a great place for a getaway with my husband! The cottage is very well done. It's incredibly clean, well stocked, and the furnishings and supplies are quite nice. The view is absolutely gorgeous and very peaceful. The "downsides" were that a bridge is under construction until late 2025 in the area so it takes longer to get to any stores. The last 5 minutes to the property are complete gravel roads and the very last part is a little steep. It's secluded but there is a house next……

“Jerry was an excellent host! The property was in a beautiful location and breakfasts out on the porch enjoying the birds and scenery was great. Very close to old rag and white oak trailheads for those interested inhiking two of the best hikes in shenandoah. The only negative was spotty internet access on occasion. I guess that its the price you pay for seclusion and it is notlimited to jerrys property”

“What a great place to stay in Sperryville area. 5 minutes away from Old Rag parking lot; 11 minutes away from Sperryville. Amazing view of Old Rage from the front porch. Very cozy interior. We will be back. ”

“My husband and I loved our stay at the cottage. First, we arrived after dark entrance into the cottage was easy. When entered the cottage it was truly magical. There was a beautiful Christmas tree. The large beautiful king size bed was decorated for Christmas and the bed was very comfortable. The cottage was warm and comfortable. The scenery was both pristine and fun. We felt as if we were alone on this beautiful piece of land. There were animals in pens that we enjoyed watching goats, a pig and……
