All areas were spotless including a shed and an outdoor barn space shockingly clean, all lawn was recently cut so we could make use of all the spaces in so many ways. Even the windows were like new and we could open windows and it was spotless not a bug in the screens. Can't express how clean the inside was, with lots of decor, games, books. I cooked a lot and the kitchen had every option you might need. Appliances seemed……

“The Ivy Rose Cottage was very comfortable and creatively decorated. The kitchen is nicely supplied for cooking simple meals. The trains did not disturb us and were fun to watch, especially the Amtrak. Great pizza and local brewery in nearby Crozet plus an excellent Harris Teeter grocery. Highly recommend this location for anyone looking for an out-of-town stay. ”

“Great location. Went up to visit family. While speaking with host, he called to check in with us to see how things were going, I mentioned we were building a large fence enclosure. Host offered to lend us an Auger to drill the post holes. It saved us about 300 in rental fees. Very nice of them. ”

“The cottage is as described. There is no stove but it truly didn’t matter. Bed is very compfy. Shower is clean and hot. Quit neighborhood. The screened in porch is the best! Coffee and reading in the rockers. The cottage is close to everything !Thank you Don. We loved our stay.”

Tim had left a bottle of champagne and chocolate cake for us since he knew it was our anniversary, which was an incredibly thoughtful and kind gesture. The cottage was clean, cute and cozy and the location was incredibly convenient to wineries, breweries and downtown Middleburg. It was truly a staycation to remember!”
