“Really enjoyed our stay at this unique property, it is very pretty cottage in a nice area. Stayed here with my wife and parents to attend a wedding in Crozet. Very close to Monticello and some very cool walking trails. The host were very responsive and accommodating.”

“We absolutely loved our stay here! Absolutely beautiful property inside and out, perfect cozy spot, caught the snow which was beautiful! Only 15 minutes from town. We will definitely be back, and we loved the Alley Light suggestion from the owner which was incredible! All around it was a perfect stay, thank you!”

“It was a cozy cottage stay with plenty of room for two couples. Having the second kitchen and fridge downstairs was a bonus. Sadly, it was too cold to take advantage of the outdoor areas but it would be a great place in warmer weather to grill and sit around the fire. ”

“Beautiful and cozy cottage. Views of the mountains in the distance and rolling fields. So comfortable, and welcoming. My Host was very nice and her welcoming treats were sweet. Rooms were nicely decorated and warm.”

“Well appointed, clean and cozy apartment on very quiet property with a lovely view. Comfortable beds, pillows and linens and fully stocked kitchenette. Big screen TV was nice but no LIVE tv access for Thanksgiving weekend sports was disappointing. We recommend this rental and would stay again. thanks!”

“We were in town for work and needed a comfortable place to come back to at the end of our long days. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the hosts were so responsive! Such a charming house with a great location! We would love to stay again!”

“Generally good. Very clean, nicely appointed. The owner was very accommodating. Lovely location. The king bed needs to be relocated so that the second person doesn’t have to crawl across the first to get in & out of bed. Bedside tables on both sides would be helpful - need a place to lay the phone at night. There should be a couple of hooks in the bathroom for wet towels or clothes when showering. A second end table on the couch would be a plus. A microwave would be handy for reheating……

“In the area to see family in Crozet and the cottage was the perfect place for us. The location is so peaceful and quiet. The host were excellent in communication and made us feel truly welcomed. We will stay again when we are back in the area.”

“This tiny house was great for some alone time with your partner. The only downsides were, there was a coffee pot you could make coffee on the stove, but no coffee maker. Your are set out in the country some, so some insects are to be expected, but they mostly stayed on the first floor, there was a decent amount of ants in the kitchen (windows were rustic, so they were coming in there) we just kept any food in the fridge. The handle on the tub is broken off, and we found it weird that already……

“Ivy Cottages was the perfect place to stay because it was easy to reach UVA. The cottage had everything we needed, including a very comfortable bed. There was also easy access to a grocery store. I would definitely stay here again.”

“Overall a very nice clean and convenient location for visiting Charlottesville, VA. FYI the turn into the driveway, when headed east is a steep turn, which can be tricky at night the first time. One thing that would be nice is a compact washer & dryer unit; that said this is an excellent location in a beautiful setting.”

“Location is great for early autumn foliage viewing and hitting the many wineries in the Monticello Wine Region. This quaint property combines an historic exterior with modern amenities inside. Privacy in a quiet rural enclave makes this property an ideal getaway.”

“A beautiful historic property and working farm, it was the perfect getaway for some lifelong friends looking to get away. Bill and Cynthia are wonderful hosts and the home has everything you could need. It is very large and can easily accommodate a large family or group event.We were even given samples of maple water from the frees, and farm-fresh eggs! We would definitely stay here again.Thank you Bill and Cynthia for a perfect weekend.”

“We were visiting family iver the Holiday and needed our own place. This apartment wss heaven. It was close to everything, had free parking, was in a great neighborhood with exceptional views, lots of space, very clean and modern and had all the essentials. We were five people and had beds for all with space to seoerate. Also two full bathrooms was a great plus. The trails behind the building were also a great treat. Know its in the third level with no elevator. That was fine for us thoygh. Would……

Worst front desk I ever met

"First when I checked in, there still guests inside for the room gave to me Then I had to go back to asked another room. The lady at front desk was not happy and passed that room to another check in guest. Moment after, that guest met the same issue. Few hours after my check in, my credit card was charged again. So I went down to check with the front desk. The lady at front desk is very rude and she said that is the system trasaction and she can do nothing. And nobody I can talk to. I have to wait to see..I will never stay in this hotel again"
