“We stopped here after vacation in the OBX. It was a perfect way to avoid the post vacation blues. We were able to sit out around a campfire and just chill. It was very comfortable and I felt right at home. I felt well rest after a good nights sleep in luxury bedding. It's a great location and very easy to travel from I-64 to US-522, I-66 to I-81.”

“The house is an old house that’s been modernized and has air conditioning and nice furnishings and a wonderful kitchen. It is within walking distance to coffee and and food which people in my party enjoyed. And the town is very sweet. Clearly, the owners of this property have taken the time to make it very pleasant and very easy for a renter to come in and feel good. “Was a little bumpy getting into the rental but wires got crossed so no one’s fault. The owner was very nice and a big help getting me in! The back yard is huge and the short hiking trail was great. My dog also became friends with a frog that showed up in the front yard everyday. Ha ”

“The Plainfield Cottage is a perfect getaway. We came in for a graduation and were quite busy. However, each time I stepped into the cottage, it felt peaceful, bright and clean. A great retreat to unwind and relax at. Cathy was very attentive on any needs we needed, as there were few because it was well stocked.”
