“The property is Gorgeous with green rolling hills, a pond with geese and baby geese on the way, deer, beaver and lots of other wildlife! Everything was so close to Charlottesville…Carter’s Mountain, Restaurants, Wineries and a Wonderful treasure down the road at Simeon’s! We loved having picnics on the grounds watching the sunset! Steve was A Great host! Would highly recommend for a relaxing getaway! ”

“It was the perfect little place to relax and unwind after hiking in the Shenandoah. It was quiet and had a lovely place to sit outside and enjoy nature with a stream runnning along the property. Very clean and cozy.”

“The Ivy Rose Cottage was very comfortable and creatively decorated. The kitchen is nicely supplied for cooking simple meals. The trains did not disturb us and were fun to watch, especially the Amtrak. Great pizza and local brewery in nearby Crozet plus an excellent Harris Teeter grocery. Highly recommend this location for anyone looking for an out-of-town stay. ”

“My mom gifted this VRBO to my wife and I as a Babymoon vacation. I was unsure at first, but this ended up being my favorite place to get away from the day to day stress. The place is very cozy and peaceful. Definitely a country setting, which we appreciated. ”

“We had a great time at the gingerbread house. The house has all the kitchen utensils you need and some welcoming extras. The cabin location is close enough to restaurants, grocery stores and wineries but far enough from the main road. You can’t go wrong with the gingerbread house. ”

“Everyone loved the cottage and we pleasantly surprised at the well stocked kitchen. There was plenty of toiletries and even a couple of robes in the bathrooms. The property is a great place to gather and we even had a small fire in the pit. I would definitely consider staying there again in the future. Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven. ”

“This was a very good property. Location is excellent and house was perfect size and well kept. We only had two small issues: water pressure and very little flatware. Otherwise, the kitchen was well stocked for those of us who love to cook. We will definitely be a return customer. ”

“The cottage was very cute. It definitely could have been cleaner, as there were waxy lip prints on the bedroom window and a few dark smudges on the walls of the bedroom and bathroom. Also, it wasn’t made clear in the description that most of the one-lane, curvy road leading to the property was dirt/gravel. If it had been raining, it would have been pretty treacherous in a small car. My SUV handled it fine, but it did get very dirty. Overall, the property was quiet, comfortable and fairly well……
