“We stayed here for graduation weekend since our daughter was graduating from UVA. Very quiet and peaceful. It is a 30 minute drive from Charlottesville but we enjoyed the drive since you have a beautiful country view when driving around. Also it is located near many vineyards which is great. We got to visit 2 of them. We truly annoyed our 4 nights/5 day stay. ”

“Had a wonderful visit! Property was very clean and welcoming. Beautiful views! We enjoyed watching the cows graze. “The house is an old house that’s been modernized and has air conditioning and nice furnishings and a wonderful kitchen. “Our family of 5 stayed at the Gingerbread Cottage for 3 nights to celebrate our daughter's college graduation from JMU. The location was ideal as it was not far from Harrisonburg and close to restaurants. We had fun at Cave Hill Brewery, which was close and had great meals at Thunderbird Cafe (breakfast) and Hank's (great bbq dinner). We highly recommend staying at this property and would return if in the area again. ”
