“We stayed here for graduation weekend since our daughter was graduating from UVA. Very quiet and peaceful. It is a 30 minute drive from Charlottesville but we enjoyed the drive since you have a beautiful country view when driving around. Also it is located near many vineyards which is great. We got to visit 2 of them. We truly annoyed our 4 nights/5 day stay. ”

“Had a wonderful visit! Property was very clean and welcoming. Beautiful views! We enjoyed watching the cows graze. “Absolutely lovely VRBO tucked away in Shenandoah. We had an incredible time and everyone raved about how lovely the accommodations were! There were SO MANY beds that were so comfortable, a lovely hot tub and the VIEWS were amazing!!! Pictures do not do this place justice! The customer service was also incredible. Highly highly recommend if you want a place for a large group to get away! ☺️”

“The home was perfect for our quick family getaway. It was just as pictured, very clean, and had everything we needed. I think our favorite part of the whole trip was hanging out in the backyard on our last night - the big maple tree provided so much shade in the hot afternoon and the string lights were a nice touch while we made s'mores in the firepit at night. There's a great paved and divided pedestrian trail across the street that was perfect for taking the dog out for a walk in the morning……

“Our family of 5 stayed at the Gingerbread Cottage for 3 nights to celebrate our daughter's college graduation from JMU. The location was ideal as it was not far from Harrisonburg and close to restaurants. We had fun at Cave Hill Brewery, which was close and had great meals at Thunderbird Cafe (breakfast) and Hank's (great bbq dinner). We highly recommend staying at this property and would return if in the area again. ”
