“It was a cozy cottage stay with plenty of room for two couples. Having the second kitchen and fridge downstairs was a bonus. Sadly, it was too cold to take advantage of the outdoor areas but it would be a great place in warmer weather to grill and sit around the fire. ”

“My sister and I visited over a long weekend during Parent’s Weekend at nearby Blue Ridge School. From start to finish, the weekend was fantastic. I was worried that check-in would be tricky because we arrived late, but they literally “left a light on for us” and made it simple. We entered the cottage to relaxing background music that was so nice we left it on all weekend. The cottage was clean and well cared for, and the farm itself was simply amazing. “What a great place to stay in Sperryville area. 5 minutes away from Old Rag parking lot; 11 minutes away from Sperryville. Amazing view of Old Rage from the front porch. Very cozy interior. We will be back. ”

“The property is as advertised, and very close to Old Rag. We have some unexpected issues come up during our stay (like getting a flat tire), and the host was very helpful. ”

“The property is newly renovated and the pictures match the website, its a tranquil property with a beautiful yard and a lot of wildlife around. Kitchen is well stocked with the essentials and loved the small details throughout the house which made our stay comfortable - for example, the dog toys and bowls for our dog to eat food. New hot tub and 3 season porch were a real favorite of the family. A drawback of the property is that it is 15 mins away from the nearest grocery store and……

“We absolutely loved our stay here. The property had so much charm and a pasture with the cutest cows and right next to a vineyard. The small touches of hospitality (welcome note, gift basket, extra toiletries, bath caddy with. The fire pit was lovely. Only downside was it wasn't as secluded as we expected and the listing said there was a pool, but there wasn't one (not a big deal as it wasn't in the photos). I would absolutely recommend this place to others and hope to come back again some time.”
