“The Cottage at Ravens Roost was a wonderful venue for us to rest as we explored the Shenandoah Valley. The dogs on the property were so friendly and adorable! We loved watching the horses in the mornings. Not to mention the farm fresh eggs and the raspberry lemon bread that we were surprised with when we arrived! Excellent hosts, excellent stay. “This little cottage was very clean and cozy. It is far off the road but close to a lot. A great location for Skyline drive. Good eats nearby. I would recommend an SUV, a sedan might bottom out on the road coming in. I gave 4 stars overall because of the latrine.. It is a compost toilet and there is an odor. The flies were bad because of this. Don’t plan to do a lot of cooking. Pots pans utensils were limited. We cooked steaks on the gri and our forks and knives bent trying to cut them. We have……

“Absolutely lovely VRBO tucked away in Shenandoah. We had an incredible time and everyone raved about how lovely the accommodations were! There were SO MANY beds that were so comfortable, a lovely hot tub and the VIEWS were amazing!!! Pictures do not do this place justice! The customer service was also incredible. “My husband and I loved our stay at the cottage. First, we arrived after dark entrance into the cottage was easy. When entered the cottage it was truly magical. There was a beautiful Christmas tree. The large beautiful king size bed was decorated for Christmas and the bed was very comfortable. The cottage was warm and comfortable. The scenery was both pristine and fun.
