We started with lunch and wine at the Tasting Room and it was delicious, the staff was extremely welcoming and attentive, and the decor and grounds were really cute. Guy let us check in early as the house was ready and it was so gorgeously decorated. It really felt like a home, not a sterile rental. Our family didn’t want to leave. “The Plainfield Cottage is a perfect getaway. We came in for a graduation and were quite busy. However, each time I stepped into the cottage, it felt peaceful, bright and clean. A great retreat to unwind and relax at. Cathy was very attentive on any needs we needed, as there were few because it was well stocked.”

The location was ideal as it was not far from Harrisonburg and close to restaurants. We had fun at Cave Hill Brewery, which was close and had great meals at Thunderbird Cafe (breakfast) and Hank's (great bbq dinner). We highly recommend staying at this property and would return if in the area again. ”
