“The cottage was very cute. It definitely could have been cleaner, as there were waxy lip prints on the bedroom window and a few dark smudges on the walls of the bedroom and bathroom. Also, it wasn’t made clear in the description that most of the one-lane, curvy road leading to the property was dirt/gravel. If it had been raining, it would have been pretty treacherous in a small car. My SUV handled it fine, but it did get very dirty. Overall, the property was quiet, comfortable and fairly well……

Conveniently located just outside Crozet, I was easily able to get around to the places where all our activities were planned.One of the highlights was meeting the gracious proprietor, who was not only welcoming but also full of great local recommendations for places to eat, drink, and explore. “We had a great time!! The house was spotless, hot tub was great, and the fire pit was perfect! We had fun playing pool every night and seeing the animals next door during the day. Master bedroom and bathroom are amazing!!!”

“This setting was absolutely bucolic, and the views of the Blue Ridge Mountains were stunning. But it seemed as if the owner was not ready for our visit. We arrived on a very chilly day, and the heaters had been turned on, but not long enough to warm up the cottage. We actually had to sleep in our coats it was so cold that first night. It took almost 24 hrs for the cottage to feel comfortable. It appeared that we were the first guests of the year, and the cottage had not been deep cleaned since……

Deer walked by each morning. Our hosts were readily available for any concerns of ours, but left us to ourselves as we explored the property with their invitation.All in all, a very nice place to stay.”
