Conveniently located just outside Crozet, I was easily able to get around to the places where all our activities were planned.One of the highlights was meeting the gracious proprietor, who was not only welcoming but also full of great local recommendations for places to eat, drink, and explore. “This setting was absolutely bucolic, and the views of the Blue Ridge Mountains were stunning. But it seemed as if the owner was not ready for our visit. We arrived on a very chilly day, and the heaters had been turned on, but not long enough to warm up the cottage. We actually had to sleep in our coats it was so cold that first night. It took almost 24 hrs for the cottage to feel comfortable. It appeared that we were the first guests of the year, and the cottage had not been deep cleaned since……

“If you’re looking for a peaceful, secluded outdoor oasis, then this is the place for you. The accommodations are modest and quite small for a family. However, if you are spending most of your time outside and don’t need a full kitchen then it would probably fit your needs well. We enjoyed sitting by the fire pit, taking in the views and soaking in the hot tub. ”
