“This is the most beautiful cabin you could ever wish for! It is secluded, quiet, and the view from the top is even better than the national park! The drive up the mountain is a little intimidating if you’re not used to driving up mountains like us. It is about 20 minutes up and the closest option for food is about 20 minutes away. That being said you should pack meals to eat in a cooler, we only packed sandwiches and a few snacks but wish we had packed any food we might of wanted. The owners……

“We absolutely loved our stay here! Absolutely beautiful property inside and out, perfect cozy spot, caught the snow which was beautiful! Only 15 minutes from town. “The Ivy Rose Cottage was very comfortable and creatively decorated. The kitchen is nicely supplied for cooking simple meals. The trains did not disturb us and were fun to watch, especially the Amtrak. Great pizza and local brewery in nearby Crozet plus an excellent Harris Teeter grocery. Highly recommend this location for anyone looking for an out-of-town stay. ”

“My husband and I stayed here over a long weekend to explore the Staunton area and it worked out nicely. The owners were always very on top of communication, kind, and accommodating. Everything in the home was decorated well, and functioned well for 2 people who like to save a bit and do breakfast in the house and have some leftovers around after eating out. The location was close to downtown and we walked practically everywhere in the downtown area from the house. It does sit atop a pretty steep……
