“Wonderful place to stay. We stayed 5 nights and wish we could retire here, it was that good!!! Susan is a wonderful host to work with, quick and thorough responses to every question. Quiet setting in the woods with no close neighbors. Upstairs offers a very private suite of your own if desired. We would definitely stay again.”

“We loved Love Ridge Mountain Lodge, we stayed at the Kennedy Ridge! It was clean and well kept! Communication was great with the owners and everything is available in the home! Very peaceful and relaxing! We even met Chester! The property cat, she is loving and hung out with us for a bit! Awesome experience, if you are visiting or from Virginia we recommend the lodge! ”

“Cizy cabin withgood appliances,wifi,and lots if room. Great secluded mountsin lication eith easy access to Charlottesville 30 min away. Owner really great and available. We loved it snd will go back Just know your in the mountains so its a hike driving out but super doable”

“Loved every aspect of this quaint cabin in the mountains. Easy access with circular drive. Front porch and rockers were a hit even though cold for morning coffee. Living room fireplace was cozy and warm. Beds were comfy and kitchen is well equipped. Easy to hit the trails and quick access to several local breweries. Owner was easy to communicate with and responsive. Highly recommend Joy Cabin!”

“We stayed at this property for 4 days and it was a great choice regarding it's proximity to all of the surrounding destinations. The location is perfect for getting around and a provided EV charger is an added bonus if you can take advantage. The area is quiet so if you want to stay in and relax like we did for part of our stay, it is a great choice as well. The location is convenient, as it is within 20 minutes of several of our favorite local wineries, breweries, trails, and attractions. Lorraine is incredibly responsive and thoughtful, and even left us brownies, eggs, and firewood. We highly recommend!”

“Our night at the Ivy Rose Cottage was cozy and charming. Nestled between Charlottesville and the Blue Ridge, the hand-built cottage amazed us with its timber framing and copper trellises. We enjoyed Dino’s pizza and marveled at the tiny water closet where knees nearly touched the door. The next morning, we had breakfast overlooking the misty garden—truly a peaceful and beautiful start to the day. Mary is also an excellent host and check in/check-out was a breeze!”
