“A lovely place! Brigette is a sweet lady who knows how to run a wonderful B&B! Her home is spotless and so simply and beautifully decorated. The land the home is on has beautiful trees. The best part of it all was the breakfast. Regretfully, we could only stay 1 night so we only got to experience it once. It started with a slightly sweet raspberry, blueberry, and green apple fruit salad, lightly sweetened with maple syrup. It didn’t taste like syrup but made the fruit slightly sweet. ……

The location is excellent, very close to the main street with many good restaurants. “The Ivy Rose Cottage was very comfortable and creatively decorated. The kitchen is nicely supplied for cooking simple meals. The trains did not disturb us and were fun to watch, especially the Amtrak. Great pizza and local brewery in nearby Crozet plus an excellent Harris Teeter grocery. Highly recommend this location for anyone looking for an out-of-town stay. ”
