We had a great time relaxing and visiting some wineries and breweries. The bed and sofa were comfortable. The internet was a little slow, but that was expected. “We absolutely loved our stay here! Absolutely beautiful property inside and out, perfect cozy spot, caught the snow which was beautiful! Only 15 minutes from town. We will definitely be back, and we loved the Alley Light suggestion from the owner which was incredible! All around it was a perfect stay, thank you!”

“The Ivy Rose Cottage was very comfortable and creatively decorated. The kitchen is nicely supplied for cooking simple meals. The trains did not disturb us and were fun to watch, especially the Amtrak. Great pizza and local brewery in nearby Crozet plus an excellent Harris Teeter grocery. Highly recommend this location for anyone looking for an out-of-town stay. ”

“Great time being outdoors, enjoying local sites and traveling in to Charlottesville.”

“The cottage was very cute. It definitely could have been cleaner, as there were waxy lip prints on the bedroom window and a few dark smudges on the walls of the bedroom and bathroom. Also, it wasn’t made clear in the description that most of the one-lane, curvy road leading to the property was dirt/gravel. If it had been raining, it would have been pretty treacherous in a small car. My SUV handled it fine, but it did get very dirty. Overall, the property was quiet, comfortable and fairly well……

“We came for two nights to escape NOVA for a bit with our kids and dog and it was so lovely! We started with lunch and wine at the Tasting Room and it was delicious, the staff was extremely welcoming and attentive, and the decor and grounds were really cute. Guy let us check in early as the house was ready and it was so gorgeously decorated. It really felt like a home, not a sterile rental. Our family didn’t want to leave. Getting to walk the grounds with my dog as well as the kids was just……

“My husband and I enjoyed this home so much! Beautiful location, house is immaculate, communication with owners was perfect! Cannot say enough wonderful things. We booked it again immediately for a trip we having coming in the fall. ”

“If you’re looking for a peaceful, secluded outdoor oasis, then this is the place for you. The accommodations are modest and quite small for a family. However, if you are spending most of your time outside and don’t need a full kitchen then it would probably fit your needs well. We enjoyed sitting by the fire pit, taking in the views and soaking in the hot tub. ”

“Well appointed, clean and cozy apartment on very quiet property with a lovely view. Comfortable beds, pillows and linens and fully stocked kitchenette. Big screen TV was nice but no LIVE tv access for Thanksgiving weekend sports was disappointing. We recommend this rental and would stay again. thanks!”

“Beautiful springtime visit to Crozet! We appreciated being walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants, and the ice cream shop. The Crozet park and dog park was a great outing for the boys and our dog. The neighborhood was quiet and the house is well maintained and adorably decorated. We would definitely visit again.
