“My friends and I had a fantastic weekend at this charming waterfront property. The screened-in porch was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful view, which quickly became one of our favorite parts of the stay. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the tools we needed to cook and enjoy meals together. Cesar was incredibly responsive and kind—he promptly answered any questions we had and even had an extra bag of charcoal delivered, which was a thoughtful touch. We truly appreciated the……

“The property was clean and so well stocked - the kitchen has spices and was even stocked with a hand mixer. The owners live nearby and we're available as a resource for ideas. They were also super responsive to any questions we had.It's a must stay!The road in was a little dusty, and the river had quite a bit of gnats. Bring big spray and a good hat!Otherwise, gorgeous property!”

“This was our second visit to Walden and, as with the first time, it did not disappoint. We were there for 3 nights and had the property all to ourselves. It was very relaxing watching the river flow by slowly and the dogs had a blast playing in the field. Deer were everywhere in the morning and at dusk. We will be back again for sure.”

“This was a great spot for a college reunion of 10 guys. We jump around from year to year, but are planning to come back here. We were all amazed at the construction of the main house and it's giant pine logs. (Suggestion: hire a professional photographer to represent the place better on this site.) We had plenty of space in the main house, but also used the tree house which was great as well. The kitchen had everything we needed and was spacious. The fireplaces got used a bunch, but did take……

“We were not at the property for too long, but found it to be quiet, charming, and with the beautiful views - exactly as featured. Communication with the host was easy! The beds were comfortable.The one thing to know if that though bedspreads are provided at the property (we brought our own linens), there are not extra blankets beyond that. It can get cool at night, so we were very glad we brought some extra with us! ”
