“Beautiful location ”

“Charming shabby chic cottage with appropriate sized furniture and lots of small tables to move around for individual needs. Star rating based on price point. Immediate area hotel rooms are substandard or very pricey. This is refreshing with options of cooking/barbecue. Cottage built into hillside and back property upper level has beautiful morning sunrise views. Morning Sun also streams into living room and kitchen. Close to town by car, not walkable. “The owner-couple have restored and maintained this beautiful historical mansion, a part of Scranton's once-central role in the economy of the North-East, to create a perfect venue for group gatherings. Their attention to detail has preserved the elegant atmosphere, and at every point of our stay, there was someone to support and answer any questions. The bathrooms are nicely upgraded and the kitchen is fully Kosher, useful for anyone who is serving large groups. Yoel was a fantastic host. He……

“The place was clean upon arrival. There were somebody else’s socks left outside but no biggie. I was hoping there would be a blender but there wasn’t but again no biggie! Everything worked, the TVs, the AC, the hot tub etc. And the kids had a blast in the game room. So over all it was a great family trip! Would definitely stay here again! ”

Short drive to the stores and casino (which we enjoyed) Would definitely recommend to family and friends.The only disappointment was that huge tub in the master bathroom is not a whirlpool/jacuzzi tub. It is just a huge tub.”
