“The only way short of camping to be out in the middle of nowhere and experience the night sky and the quiet is at Hotel Luna Mystica. Also there was a fabulous pizza restaurant just a few miles away. We stayed five nights. The toilet in Spartacus was very cramped but it worked. All in all worth it. The staff is great and it is so nice to stay a place without all kinds of signs indicating not to do this or that.”
“I only stayed for a day but it was a stay to remember. The check in time was later than I’m used to but you have your own parking spot reserved with your room, you walk though a beautiful garden to get to the room, we reserved the storyteller suite, so our view faces the setting sun which was gorgeous.
We didn’t need to talk to anyone because of the contactless check in which was very convenient and hassle free.

“I enjoyed the large bed in our room, the view of a mountain from the patio and the comfort of the reading room. The breakfast was good too. I wish that they had served bacon along with the eggs but the variety of items was nice. The fresh squeezed orange juice was delicious. ”
“The La Fonda is a beautiful old hotel. Paying for parking in the rear was so worth it. We came and left frequently, going to historical sites and Taos Pueblo. We were able to sample some local cuisine in the hotel restaurant and the owner was very informative, telling us about the history of his people and the foods they prepare(d). There is an area for games or quiet time. There was a festival on the square Saturday afternoon and evening which made us appreciate the location even more. We had a……
