“My wife and I with our two kids needed a quick getaway and this was just perfect. It's a newer, well-appointed cottage, next to a larger main house. The creek is 20 yards off the back door. It's really a great place to stay while exploring Alpine County.”

“This house was awesome for our family of 7. Plenty of sleep space, the kitchen has everything stocked so for our big meals we needed nothing. The beach being a walking distance was a major plus Since there’s no close parking for the beach! We seriously had a great vaycay full of fun memories! ”

“Cozy and beautiful cabin. You will really need to have a suv or any high clearance car to park in the driveway due to the steepiness of the driveway(included in the instructions.) No air conditioning except for masters bedroom. Might be better to have portable AC in all rooms during summer. Most of of us, unable to sleep because it was hot when we went. 90s weather. Fans are provided if needed otherwise ceiling fans are installed. Nice to have private hot tub and private pool, sauna and……

“Our visit was nice. The place was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. It offered privacy and quiet we were looking for. It was located conveniently to stores, restaurants, museums, and more. We would definitely visit again. ”

“This is a crummy duplex..not a cottage with any privacy. It's in a bad area with boarded up dwelling next door. No usable outdoor space. This is why you see no photos of outside of house or area. Also on a busy street. Owner was not accommodating at all. I moved out after only one week.”

“We came for a long weekend to explore the Lake Tahoe area and do some hiking. Made the mistake of renting a large SUV, the neighborhood is difficult to get into off the busy road and the streets are very narrow. Parking at the cabin also very tight but my hubby got good at getting into the covered carport in back. Cabin is very cozy and clean, highly recommend staying here!!”
