“Great location, peaceful in nature yet close to many attractions”

“It was a pity I was only here one night because I loved this place. Beautiful location surrounded by forest and with a view of Mount Rushmore from the room too. I felt at peace there. Dinner at the pub there was reasonably priced too and it was lovely to sit outside on the verandah enjoying both the meal and the view. There was also a good choice of breakfast which was included. ”

“We had the best stay at Under Canvas - Mt. Rushmore. It was our first time at an Under Canvas and the staff was so friendly and helpful and the campground was clean. Very scenic - would definitely recommend!”

“Our stay at Canyon Lake Resort fulfilled its objective as a quiet, clean, safe place to stay while we visited the Rapid City-area attractions. The motel lacked amenities you might find at a hotel, particularly regarding walkable restaurants or coffee shops, but those were only a drive away.”

“Serene spot in Custer SP. off the beaten path. Cabin was beautifully decorated and spotless. Great set up for outdoor space to cook or relax. Welcome basket of snacks was greatly appreciated. Highly recommend ”

“The property was equipped with all needs. Although we thought the house was perfect The several mile road was red dirt and because it rained my car had red clay in wheel wells and my car was a mess. Chunks of red dirt fell out each time I took to car wash. I believe description said gravel road; and this was not gravel. I imagine in dry summer months the road wouldn’t be an issue. ”
