“Sandra was in touch to remind and provide helpful information days in advance of our trip. The old mansion is gorgeous, with stately old, tall and gnarly silver maples flanking the beautiful entrance. Lots of rocking chairs our front. We lucked out, too, as weather was beautiful. It was a great pleasure to meet Sandra. She took such good care of us. Her breakfasts were first rate, and she had suggestions for about any kind of entertainment in the area. She had many Virginia wines……

“We had a wonderful stay at this property. The listing matched the photos and description, and check-in/out was a breeze. The space was spotless, nicely decorated, and felt welcoming right away. The bed was very comfortable (though a little soft for my taste), and the air conditioning was excellent. Coffee and creamer were provided, but not quite enough for a full week’s stay, so we picked up a bit more. The location was quiet and yet perfectly walkable to downtown to shops and fantastic……

“Not wanting a stuffy hotel we opted for an apartment type rental. Full kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. Having a couch to feel at home to watch TV made our stay homey. Absolutely loved the decor with a theme throughout the place. I love the charm of the old homes and this one didn’t disappoint. If I get back to Staunton I will definitely stay here! ”
