“We just loved it. My wife and I have been there before. If you just want to relax and overlook the lake or even fish. It's all in the backyard. Cook on the grill, kayak or just lounge in a chair like we did. It's very quiet and peaceful. No tv, just good ole relaxation. Frank and Linda the hosts. We just love them to death. “We were in Longview for a baby shower for our 14th great grandchild. The property was OUTSTANDING! Completely the same as pictured on the VRBO site. Sitting on the deck overlooking the golf course was very pleasant. The bedrooms comfortable and nicely decorated, the living room and kitchen spacious and the garage a plus! Hope to stay there again! ”

“There is almost no where to stay in Gilmer, but this cabin was perfect. You can hear the road noise, but it’s really not horrible. We have family of 6, with kids between the ages of 1-14. Everyone had their own bed, and our older kids thought the loft was really cool. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. The A/C works great. My kids enjoyed walking the property too. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to visit family. ”
