“My sister and I stayed here for the weekend to go hike garden of the gods. It’s a 2 minute drive from the cabin. The cabin was easy to locate, private, but also not far from Harrisburg which offered grocery store and restaurants. The hot tub was nice and we thought it was awesome you offered firewood for the pit! The check in process wasn’t hard, but I prefer being able to sign electronic docs and enter my code and read the rules. Going to the store was a little over whelming and busy. I would……

“We came to town for our son’s wedding and needed a place close to the church. My husband found this house. The kitchen is amazing. It is a cute house that had everything we needed. The pictures everywhere was a little odd but the coasters, spoons and other items that had inappropriate words on them was a bit much. ”

“We so enjoyed the quiet and country atmosphere! We were very surprised at the extra effort this home has to make it comfortable for our stay. And everywhere we looked the home had lovely furnishings! With all the windows, we got to watch the birds! Also, don’t forget the neat hikes close by!”

“While the house was further out from Paducah than we would have like, it was just as described. There was plenty of room for four quilters and their equipment The kitchen is amazing. We spent afternoons on the back porch with our wine and listening to the birds. Owners were responsive to our questions and needs. ”

“We had a wonderful stay at this charming house in a lovely small river town! It was the perfect spot for “home base” for our family reunion held in Karbers Ridge — plenty of space, comfortable, and clean. We enjoyed exploring the area, walking to grab an ice cream, look at the river and a short drive away for delicious meals at Strickland Seafood in Paducah, and a lunch at Patti’s 1880’s, and we also had some fun at Harrah’s in Metropolis. This home made a perfect base for making family……

The deck and patio were perfect to relax on after a day of hiking in the Shawnee National Forest. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area. ”

“Our hosts met us on arrival, and showed us around the property. It was as it was represented on line. The area is quiet, and very walkable, with a nice city park nearby. It has more than enough room for several folks to stay without bumping into each other. ”
