“The space was clean and well organized. Huge backyard with a fire pit. Covered porch that we were able to watch the storms roll in. The only negative is that the river view was what sold us on the property but because the house is split in two, the other tenants were using it. Since the patio furniture sat in front of our French doors we had to keep the blinds closed and weren’t able to enjoy the view. Amazing location though!”

“We had a wonderful anniversary trip to Nauvoo. The historic and quaint Mix House added some period charm to our stay. While the house retains much of its 19th century charm, it has the modern conveniences needed for a relaxing stay. It may have been the off season, but food and meal choices were limited in Nauvoo itself. We were grateful for the items we ordered from The Apron Bake Shoppe.”

“The host was super nice and accomodated our needs/request for an extension cord and help to print something. The beds were super comfortable and clean. I was especially grateful for the hot water since many places don't have that. The location is close to restaurants and stores. ”

“Beautiful stay. Close to everything you need but feels like your own private getaway. Very well stocked and the kids loved the children’s room and pool table. They were super helpful when we had an Internet issue and my husband had to work from home and got it up quickly. Beautiful views and outdoor spaces. My only caution would be that the gorgeous primary suite is up a cute but harder to climb set of spiral stairs so if you have accessibility concerns use one of the other rooms or pick a……

“Our stay was wonderful, the check-in and out process was very straightforward. We enjoyed our days sitting outside on the patio and visited the river! Such a great location and close enough to town we got to see the nightly performance by the missionairies. It is a beautiful place!”

“Property was easy to locate, check into, and very clean. Had all the amenities needed. Conveniently located by the dollar general and walking distance to restaurants. Host was easy to communicate with and quick to respond! Would definitely recommend. ”
