“The check-in process was very easy and the home was very cute. Everything you need is there. A full kitchen on the second floor with a second kitchen on the main floor. Regular sized fridge, stove, dishwasher, pots, pans, coffee maker, glasses and all kinds of tools and utensils you use in the kitchen. There are 2 decks, the top deck has an outdoor fireplace which is a great touch. The king size bed was comfortable. The home is air conditioned.The main bath is large with a great shower. ……

“We loved the Hideaway! I wish we could have just stayed longer and had more time to watch the wildlife around this property. My husband woke up early one morning and watched an eagle score its breakfast and I watched the seal a couple of times but I could have done that all day! “We wanted a quiet getaway and chose Sunset Lagoon because of the great reviews and the promise of seafood. If you like shellfish, this is the place for you! If you like a serene view and (usually) a great sunset, this place delivers. If you love kayaking or paddle boarding, you have a beautiful place to do it. The owners are kind and helpful. You do need to think through what you need in advance since there’s no store on this island. But that’s just a little planning in advance.”
