“It is a fantastic small private hotel, new, modern and clean—a beautifully designed spacious bedroom with a terrace overlooking the sea and the city. Fantastic Turkish breakfast, with local cheeses, Turkish eggs, and pastries served in a sunlit restaurant. The hotel is located off the quiet residential street, but only five minutes’ walk to Kalkan’s centre, with its excellent restaurants, tavernas, shops and the seafront. I wish I could move in.”

“We found the hotel to largely be good. Great pool and rooms although a bit of a walk uphill from town. Breakfast was good, but the coffee was as I think another person on here said, awful. A few downsides, which I didn’t have the energy to raise with staff, were the fan in our room was broken, the AC only had one setting and was partially broken, and the drainage in our bathroom smelt awful, stinking out the room. Hope this is useful. It was a great stay just a few bits left to be desired. No……

“An excellent location with a good view. Very quiet and peacefull. Good breakfast with a lot of variety. Hotel crew friendly and prepared to help. Check-in through the reception was very poor. No info provided and you have to find out yourself or ask everytime.We stayed for 5 days and ask for cleaning the third day. Cleaners said they can't mob the floor. They only change the bed sheets, towels and get rid of the garbage.”

“The Courtyard is so much more beautiful than any photo can suggest. The bougainvillea cascade over the inner courtyard full of welcoming nooks and leafy arbors. My room was spacious and full of light, with a full balcony overlooking the courtyard. The breakfast terrace is seaside, the beach is a 5 minute walk directly down the hill. Note that while taxis don’t usually make it into the “old town”, there is a parking area at the entrance that makes taxi pick up and airport transfer easy. Most……

“The hotel was perfect for my short stay. The room and bed were warm and comfortable. The shower was hot. The breakfast was fresh, adequate and delicious. The staff were welcoming and helpful. I noticed that there was some black mould on the bathroom ceiling which I assume will be cleaned during the winter. There was no television in the room - it wasn't necessary for me, but maybe other guests would want one. There was live Turkish music on one of the nights which attracted many customers to the……
