“We had a fantastic stay at the property. The home is very charming and the pool is great. The location was also really nice. Close to wineries and hiking. Two points of feedback are that the dishes were visibly dirty upon arrival and all of the mattresses need to be replaced. Everyone in the group slept poorly and noted that the mattresses were uncomfortable. The master bedroom should likely also have a larger bed.”

When we arrived the property and house were very welcoming. The house was immaculate. The weather was beautiful so we enjoyed the back patio ”

“Perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy the river view from the deck. The cottage was spacious and well appointed . We spent time learning about the history of Harpers Ferry and hiking in the region. Our adult son came in from Baltimore for one day visit.”

“It was a wonderful and beautiful home! We had a simple wedding reception under the garage. Thank you jill for accepting us into your home. The guys wanted to mow the lawn just for fun lol. This is definitely a lovely place to rent for a short or long stay. Everything 10 out of 10! ”

“Cute house with a lot of character. Sat on the front porch and watched everybody go to the ice cream shop. Perfect place to be to get to all of the attractions. The Tavern in town is a great place to eat with a nice atmosphere. House was clean and organized. The only thing I could recommend would be that they have a Keurig in the kitchen”

“The outdoor spaces exceeded my expectations of the property. There is ample space on the deck, the yard is enjoable with the views and firepit, and the front porch rocking chairs are relaxing with a cup of coffee and litening to the gentle rain.Young adults enjoyed the game room. My only suggestion would be to replace mattress in 1st floor bedroom, it sinks a little. That is a small inconvenience considering that everything else was lively and the kitchen was well supplied with cooking tools.”

“Very nice property and I wish the weather had been better so I could enjoy the outside as much as the inside. The home had all the necessities and was in great shape. Loved the artistic touches (wall photos, stove covers, dish patterns). Lots of wildlife stopped by -deer, woodpecker, birds! Would definately stay again!”

“Super cozy, clean and nicely decorated 3 bedroom home within walking distance to a winery and battlefield trails. Centrally located to many towns, shops, wineries, breweries and historical sites in Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia. The hot tub was amazing and the perfect ending to a long day. The owner was very easy to communicate with throughout our stay. Highly recommended. We will definitely be returning. ”
