“A beautiful location on the Potomac River. Shepherdstown not even a mile down the road. Perfect! We arrived to a very cozy cabin. So relaxing. Comfortable bedding, great lighting inside. Great set up! Love the light on the side near the outhouse very convenient. Turn on the porch light, and the side light towards the outhouse will be on for you. The outhouse was very clean and spacious! Careful of webs and spiders we are in their space after all. We love how it's built right into nature!……

“We booked this place for 12 adults and it was last minute as the previously booked location cancelled the day before the trip. We doubled up in each room. It had everything we needed plus a pool. It is located close to numerous wineries and is right next door to the brewery. There was plenty of parking for everyone. The place was clean and checkin and checkout was easy. We property manager was quick to reply to any questions we had. The view was amazing especially for the sunrise!”

“The property was great for relaxing, touring local history and enjoying the recreation on the Potomac River and bike trail. We had a slight issue with the water heater, called the property contact and the problem was fixed within the hour. Excellent service and great stay. We would stay again. ”

“We enjoyed a long weekend at the cabin for a girls trip. Was everything we needed and wanted and the perfect space for 3 adults. We spent a lot of time at the cabin and felt very comfortable, we also took the short walk to the river for a quick swim and we went out to explore Harper's Ferry and Shepherdstown which were both an easy drive away (maybe 10 -20 minutes from the cabin depending). Hosts were gracious and very quickly responsive when we had a question. Would highly recommend this cabin!”

“Our stay was great and really enjoyed the house. We had so much space to have our own time and then still be able to come together for meals and hanging in the hot tub. We now want to come back in the winter and go to the sledding hill right in front of the house! ”

“We had a fantastic stay at the property. The home is very charming and the pool is great. The location was also really nice. Close to wineries and hiking. Two points of feedback are that the dishes were visibly dirty upon arrival and all of the mattresses need to be replaced. Everyone in the group slept poorly and noted that the mattresses were uncomfortable. The master bedroom should likely also have a larger bed.”

“Perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy the river view from the deck. The cottage was spacious and well appointed . We spent time learning about the history of Harpers Ferry and hiking in the region. Our adult son came in from Baltimore for one day visit.”

“The positives: Stayed for five days. The cabin itself is adorable, inside I felt cozy and warm. The host has the place well stocked with kitchenware and utensils, towels, bedding, herbs and spices, etc. The bed and furniture were comfy. I loved the climate control system and bathroom/shower. The host was on point with communications, very fast to help me make my booking decision and at checkout, so that consistency was awesome. It felt clean, especially for such a rustic place!Internet……
