“We like to travel a lot and this was the best house so far. The house is amazing. Check-in was quick and easy. We were able to drop off our luggage before check in time which was very helpful. Bedrooms are very spacious. We were able to pick a lot of different fruits in the yard. ”

“The house was as described, the owner was very accessible and very responsive. maybe a bit more backyard landscaping would enhance the outdoor grill and table but outside of that our stay was great, we would be back.”

“Me and my family stayed a week here and we loved it! The location was convenient and the area was very nice and quiet. The home was clean and the owners were very easy to contact and kept in touch. The ac came in handy since the weather was very warm and humid when we visited. I would definitely stay here again and will definitely recommend them to others visiting the island. ”

“Nice place to sleep while we were enjoying various activities around the island. Please read the amenities. If you are coming from the main land and are custom to A/C. Please note that A/C is an amenitie on the Hawaiian Islands. If you get past that, the weather is fairly comfortable, ceiling fan and a floor fan was provided. Leave the windows open for a breeze. Comfy bed and in a secluded area. Thanks for the memories. Everyday we had a visitor, I knew it was going to be a great day!”

“Lehua looked great in the add and was far better in person. We loved our stay-and seriously considered asking if we could stay longer. “LLC” had everything we needed and more-we were able to cook all our meals in a delightfully comfortable setting. Coqui frogs, though invasive, were a lovely treat to fall asleep to at night. We were unbelievably close to Volcanoes NP, for the fountaining lava and close enough to summit Mauna Kea! “The entire property is ideal for a tropical vacation. Not necessarily a Hawaii vacation. It was about 45 min from Kilauea, an hour from a swimmable beach, 5 minutes from Fissure 8 (private property in spots), and 25 min from the ocean. The worst part of the house was Kilauea didn’t erupt! I don’t blame Matt but I think he could’ve done something to help it erupt. All pictures were taken within 45 min of the house. One thing I didn’t take pictures of: the fruit trees! The strawberry guava tree is……

“Very nice, comfortable, quiet house near Volcanos National Park. Very well stocked kitchen. Bedrooms nice and worked well for our family with 2 small kids. Love spot at the end of the road in the woods - gorgeous flowers.The hot tub would have been nice, but had been too heavily chlorinated and the chemical smell was so strong, we were unable to use it.”

“Great location close to Volcanoes National Park and Volcano village. The cabin is charming and comfortable and tucked into the most beautiful cloud forest. We loved the fireplace in the evenings after a day out hikingClose to Lanakai Brewing, a great spot for beer and pizza. ”
