“Excellent accommodations. Exceptionally clean. We have stayed in Volcano 2 times before in the Hiiaka House…which is no longer a rental. I found Jungalo Bungalow online and liked what I saw. I strongly recommend a stay here if the Volcano National Park is in your plans. …or one could choose to stay at Volcano House for hundreds of dollars more plus having to buy all your meals! We were very pleased with Jungalo Bungalow!”

“The house was very clean. Located in a very quiet neighborhood. It was really close to Volcano National Park. Just about 45 min drive to Hilo and Black Sand Beach. Would definitely recommend this property. ”

“8 of us stayed at this wonderful property (5 adults and 3 kids under 10). It was just perfect. The house is extremely comfortable and everyone had their own space. We loved the location as for us we wanted to explore Volcano National Park and much of the east side of the island. We did go to Kona for a day which was easily accessible as well. Hilo is awesome and so is this house!”

“Clean and quiet little stay. I only wish with it being off grid that there was an actual good size grille and a few basics (salt, pepper, coffee). Being off grid, we brought groceries to cook there however cooking was a little bit a nightmare. Other than that. Great stay! ”

“If you are looking for a large new modern clean full-size kitchen, master bedroom, master bath with a double head shower this is your place! This is a five star mini Home retreat. Holly the host had everything we needed. The kitchen has everything you need you feel like you’re at home. Beautiful and private gated home. “We absolutely loved our stay at this VRBO and would return in a heartbeat! Despite the previous guests leaving a mess and causing a few minor issues, the owner went above and beyond to have everything ready and comfortable for us right away. “Everything we hoped for!”

“Place was amazing, it was quite, except for the frogs at night, but they didn't bother me at all. There is no AC , but with the fans on and windows open it was fine. Love the lanai, I was able to just sit out there for breakfasts and dinner and enjoy the ocean view, the breeze, and the chickens. The only thing is I wish there were more hooks in the bathroom and a night stand in the bedroom with the twin beds. I had no where to put my things and I usually have a cup of water near me at night.
