“A really amazing property and possibly my favorite of our week long trip. We were only here one night, but it was perfect. The view was incredible and the space very clean. My only very small and easy to fix complaint was that all the amenities weren’t listed or were unclear. There is nowhere very close to eat or get groceries so we planned to only have a kettle. When we got we had a set up for an electric cook top, pan, and some other things. Also, it wasn’t as clearly listed that we would have……

“We enjoyed this property for our 2 night stay. The rental unit looks brand new and is furnished very well. It was probably the largest and nicest rental units we stayed in for our entire two week trip. It was nice to have the space! The only downside to this property is that it was out in the country, away from everything. So grab what you need before retiring for the evening. We were slightly disappointed that our cabin rental was in the middle of the other rentals, so we really didn’t have a……

“Wonderful and unique place to stay. Make sure to get the igloo with the bathroom. We were surprised how clear the dome was to see the stars and we were so lucky to see an incredible aurora from the comfort of our bed. ”

“Top tier spot. Clean, warm in the winter, very responsive owners. Plenty of local stuff to do nearby like waterfall walks, Caves of Hella, wool market, and a cute cafe. A great middle point for exploring golden circle and south coast. ”

“West Rangá Lodge is located on a river close to Vik. It is renown for salmon fly fishing. We were only there for one night, but were able to see a fisherman catch a salmon. We went down the road to see the fish ladder that is used for the fish to climb in order to spawn. We enjoyed the clean room and amenities. Breakfast was delicious.”

“It's away from the city but easy to reach. The room is pretty big and everything is comfortable. We visited the stable the day after we checked out. what a fun experience with the Icelandic horses. and the breakfast is nice BTW.”

“Super friendly staff who were happy to have us there. Simple hotel was great for a stop on our golden circle tour and bonus with breakfast included so we didn’t have to spend time in the morning looking for something to eat. Would stay there again. ”
