“We stayed in the cabin in the back which was…. Absolutely adorable and as pictured. I would highly recommend to communicate with the host ahead of time, because while the contact phone number is listed at multiple points on the property, it can be difficult for a traveler without phone service. I was traveling from another country and had data only, I was fortunate to have a local person lend me their phone so I could check in that first evening. That is my only advice for anyone wanting to stay……

“Total gem and worth going a bit off the beaten path. Wonderfully renovated and welcoming spaces. On a cool night there were small fires in the fireplaces in the lobby and in the restaurant. The dinner at the restaurant was the best of our trip, and the included breakfast in the morning was also fabulous. Walkable little town with several historical points of interest, a Friday morning farmers market, and lots of locals at Joyces pub and bakery. We wished we had booked for more than one night. ”

“Great location with plenty of options for dining and sightseeing. The rooms are clean and the staff were friendly. Just know that they do not have air conditioning in the rooms. They will provide you with a portable fan if requested. Well worth the cost to stay in this beautiful area. ”

“Die Unterkunft war sehr ruhig und naturnah. Die Vermieter sind sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit und immer für tolle Gespräche zu haben. Das ganze Grundstück ist beeindruckend in Größe und Artenreichtum. Zum Frühstück gab es selbst gebackenes Brot und selbstgemachte Marmelade sowie auch weitere Dinge. Toller Aufenthalt !”

“This hotel's exterior doesn't even hint at what's inside. The area is spacious, flowing and absolutely lovely in the lobby and Waterfront restaurant. We drove all over Ireland for the past 2 weeks and this is the only hotel that had a shower curtain so the floor wasnt flooded (those half walls do nothing, especially when you can't adjust the showerhead to not spray outside the shower stall) and a bathroom exhaust fan so the mirror didnt steam over. The staff were so friendly and helpful,Orla……

“My room was comfortable but I had no outlook and a noisy hum was to be heard fairly constantly.”
