“The Quonset hut was cozy, clean, and accommodating. Our hosts were friendly and communicative and provided great directions to the place as well as instructions for getting into the hut. The forest behind the hut was just lovely, as well as the surrounding views. It was a quiet and calm place. “Well maintained home, excellent for any occasion. We had our retired Air Force reunion here. The rooms are spacious and comfortable.Excellent spot for several nearby tours and sightseeing,we recommend the Jack Daniel’s Distillery. All in all a wonderful time had by all of us. “Relaxing stay rained every day we were there, but with the screened in porch we got to watch the wildlife. Watched an eagle catch a fish, cranes fly and land nearby, geese fly and swim by. Enjoyed the fishing when it wasn't raining, caught fish every day we were there. We plan to rent again this fall. The owner was very friendly and responded quickly to questions, check in was very easy. Loved our stay.”

“What we liked about the property was the three bedrooms. The beds were very comfortable. The house inside was very clean. There was plenty of supplies. There was dish soap, paper plates paper cups. Kitchen was fully stocked with dishes pots and pans silverware. Really the only complaint that we had is that there was a chair in living room that was broken. We had one of the children sit in it and it started to sink so we actually turned it to the wall and wouldn't let anyone sit in it for the……

“The place is exactly as described and pictured. We enjoyed the huge front yard and back area with grill! Our kids had so much fun and enjoyed their spring break weekend. So close to many places including the Tim’s Ford park. We went on a hike saw beautiful areas and even enjoyed seeing deer go past us during our walk! We’d enjoy the hot tub in the evenings. We loved the lake views, the screened in porch with big sliding doors for an indoor/oudoor living space, and the quaint home like feeling of this house with so much history and beautiful decor and landscaping too! We went to Jack Daniels as planned and spent time in the square in Lynchburg which was so nice and a close drive from this cottage but we couldn't wait to get back and relax on the porch……
