“We stayed for one night and took dinner and breakfast. It is a great home stay sharing travelling stories with other guests and learning about heritage of the farm. It is good to enjoy home style foods, plus endless supply of Tasmania beers and whisky. The cottage and room is clean and modern. Stay there if you pass by the area. ”

“We told the host we would arrive after 6pm  in Nov and she was there greeting us as soon as we arrived. We liked the kitchen which got all the cooking wares but not sure if there is cooking oil or seasonings. The electric stove was slow to turn on. The host has provided the eggs, milk, tea bags, coffee and juice as well as bread in two sandwich boxes so we could prepare our breakfast. Everywhere in the house, kitchen and bathroom are clean. “Great place to stay. It's a bit out of the way from Hobart but it's in a beautiful area so the distance was not a big deal. Lovely place but could use a bit more attention to dusting. Other than that really great place”

“This is a great place to stay. So much history. The library is amazing. The cottage was built in the mid 1800’s. So it’s vey old. But certainly worth staying. Even electric blankets on the beds. ”
