“Worth it! Brilliant location. Feels like being directly out in nature, but all the amenities of home. Timeless memories of sitting on the front deck of our own log cabin in the woods taking in the sights, sounds and scents of the kenai bush. “We stayed the beginning of Sept. The cabin we rented was " Premium Cabin, 2 Queen Beds, Kitchen, Mountainside". It was recently renovated, cozy and clean. The cabin has a mini frig, Keurig maker & variety of coffees, hot cocoa, etc. Good quality pans for cooking. The cabin had a charcoal grill and a fire pit. The host Gary has charcoal and fire wood for sale at the office which is very convenient. Guests have use of the kayak and paddle boat. The property is wooded but a great view of……

“We stayed two nights here while exploring nearby hiking and taking a day cruise with Kenai Fjords tours. I would love to come back and stay longer as this cabin was roomy and well equiped.”

“It’s a cute cabin with all of the basics that you need. A light on the twin side of the living room would be great. The main bed is basically a trampoline and also very creaky. The kitchen is nice though! We did have an issue with the driveway not being plowed so we had to park in the middle of the road and hike through a foot of snow to get to the door. The host did make it right after I reached out, but we had very cold feet for a while, as we weren’t prepared to walk in that much snow.……

“I brought a friend who was visiting Alaska down for the weekend and the property couldn’t have been better. Very clean, tons of space, centrally located! It’s such a short walk down to the water or downtown strip and the view even from the dining room table is pretty spectacular. Hosts were responsive and got us everything we needed to know well before our trip. Definitely recommend :)”

“We enjoyed a lovely short stay at The Sockeye house! We flew in from MN to visit family in Anchorage and everybody took a trip to Seward for a little extra Alaskan getaway. This was a spacious place to stay that accommodated 4 families of varying age ranges and sizes. Great location, beautiful property, everything we needed! And Mary Beth was great to communicate with! The Alaskans said they will definitely keep this place in mind for future visits. ”

“This tiny home/cabin was very well appointed and comfortable for the three adults who stayed. The location, just outside of Seward, was perfect for us. The cabin had everything we needed for the two nights. It was very clean, there were plenty of linens, it was quiet, and we felt safe. I would highly recommend this property. ”
