“A group of us stayed here while in town for a horse show. The property is clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend!!”

“The chalet cabin rental was the perfect location for our family's birthday getaway. The hot tub, BBQ grille, and fire pit provided plenty of entertainment, and the wifi was an added convenience. The spacious primary suite upstairs and cozy reading loft gave us all the room we needed to relax. The well-stocked kitchen was great for preparing a special birthday meal. Overall, we had an unforgettable and enjoyable stay at the chalet.”

“The house has real potential, but also has real problems. It needs some maintenance in a major way. The toilet won’t flush. The faucet in the bathtub fell off. The grill had not been cleaned in so long that it broke out into a fire. When communicated these problems with the host, the response was I’m sorry for the inconvenience. We will have our handyman fix it after you leave. Frankly, I wanted it fixed while we were there. They also did not provide the necessary materials for cleaning dishes.……

It was the perfect spot from which to enjoy local sites like Luray caverns, Skyline Drive, the state park, historic downtown, great restaurants and local boutiques, and endless options for the comic book and beer……

“We loved our stay here. It was peaceful, just what we needed, and only 20mins away from Winchester if you want to go there. We enjoyed the local farmer’s markets, the pickleball court, and the house is beautiful. It has a fire pit, but we didn’t use it. Enjoy!”

“Comfortable and nice layout for group of nine friends during extended wine tasting weekend. The kitchen was wonderfully stocked as we do most of our cooking on these types of outings. Communication with owner was timely and responsive. Even the wildlife (deer, woodchuck, bunnies, etc.) were fun to watch as we relaxed on the back porch. All-in-all, a fantastic place to stay in a beautiful part of Virginia. ”
