“We needed a good middle location between NC and NY for our girls weekend. This home had 3 bedrooms and 2 1/12 baths, worked perfect for the 3 of us. Very clean! Check in was a bit challenging, they send you the info on the lock box but don't mention it's on the back side of a front porch post, in the dark with cellphone for lighting...but VRBO connected us with host quickly who let us know where it was, then it was easy peasey. “Lovely cabin indeed. VERY remote! Quiet and screne. Listed as a 2 bedroom but there's not really a 2nd bedroom. The basement has beds in it but not private. They're tucked in like a little alcove but still a cute cabin! The pool table was definitely a plus! ”

“Our family traveled from both Southern Illinois and Maine to come together to attend a family wedding in Middleburg, VA. The Musical Mountain House was just perfect for our stay. It was clean, beautifully decorated, and the beds were so comfortable! The bunk room couldn’t have been anymore perfect for my grandkids. The hot tub was such a nice addition too! The house is located just where we needed…close to the wedding venue, and also close enough for some sight seeing in Shanendoah State Park……

“We loved driving through the cow pasture to get to the house - helped us slow down and relax! We were in town for a graduation, so siblings (and their young children) were all there. There were enough beds for us all, and the kitchen/dining area was cozy for us all. The younger kids enjoyed the yard, while parents could sit on the deck by the river.
