“My cousin and I planned this trip so that we could do some biking on the C & O Canal Towpath. We loved that the host provided bikes for our use and were able to hit the trail for a bit in spite of a rainy weekend. The location of the property was ideal for this. We also found several wineries in close proximity and added those to our itinerary since we were not able to bike as much as we would have liked to. The house was very cute and clean and had everything that we needed during our stay.……

“Glenn, the host was truly the best. Accommodating in every way. The house was clean, spacious and located on a manicured lot. The view was awesome. Right on the river. We ate every meal on the outside covered deck. Every aspect of our stay was awesome. Our only regret was we had to leave. I can't say enough good things about this awesome property and host. ”

“Tony was our host. We never saw him. Nor did we get sheets for the bed we slept in. The hot tub was disgusting and appeared to have soap suds in it. There were no bowls in the kitchen. The upstairs shower had only hot water. The downstairs shower had only cold water. There was inadequate seating in the living room for the number of occupants staying there.”

“Nice quiet place. Nice new deck. Good location. Helpful owners. The only downside was the hot tub water was not clean on arrival. Did not use. Recommend to owner to instruct renters to add cleaning solution upon arrival if that’s what is required for it to be usable. Otherwise, a nice place to stay.”
